This interesting book gives a glimpse at some of the rarest and private Colts held in private collections.  The book is labeled as an exhibition catalog, yet that term can be confusing.  This on its own is a great hardbound reference book, each chapter is headed by historical information including production numbers, these chapters were authored by the expert collectors in their field of interest.  Captions further enhance the text as these most often include shipment dates, serial numbers and technical and historical information.  Just the color photographs alone are of interest as many rare and obscure guns are illustrated.
